Network August 27, 2020	Verizon has upgraded my connection from 50Mbs fiber optic internet service to 100Mbs.
Matthew August 17, 2020	Matthew started his first day of medical school at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. The lectures are currently online but the labs start on campus in two weeks. He will study there for four years and then do medical residency for at least three years.
Doctorate June 26, 2020	I received (translation) an honorary doctorate from the Reshetnev Siberian State University of Science and Technology in Krasnoyarsk, Russia. I have spoken at the university several times and have worked with open source software developers from Krasnoyarsk and Russia since 1996.
Peter May 7, 2020	Peter graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Business Administration (bba) in Marketing from Temple University’s Fox School of Business. The graduation ceremony was online. This image taken at home on his graduation day shows Peter in Luke's Saint Joseph's University gown, with Matthew's Franklin & Marshall College Magna Cum Laude cord, Bruce's Columbia College hood, Peter's grandfather's doctoral cap with metal tassel, and his great-grandfather's college diploma from Tarsus, Turkey.
Matthew March 26, 2020	Matthew was working in Wilmington today at the site of a shooting and appears in the third image of this news story.
Conference February 28-29, 2020	Catherine and I attended the Conservative Political Action Conference (cpac) for two days. Of the 19,000 attendees, one person later tested positive for the coronavirus. Attendees have been asked to contact their doctor if they have flu-like symptoms (video).
Security February 27, 2020	My website now forces tls/ssl security for all web pages.
Vacation January 9, 2020	Our family took a 7-day drive from Jacksonville, Florida to Tallahassee, Pensacola Beach, and New Orleans. On the way we stopped to see the Florida Caverns State Park and Eglin Air Force Base.
