| Science Fair February 13, 2010 |
All four children entered the Greater Philadelphia Homeschool Science Fair. Catherine and Peter won second place awards for their grades, Luke, third, and Matthew, first. They will continue at the Delaware County Science Fair (DCSF) on March 8th. |

Luke and Peter's RoboWhizards team were awarded second place for innovative design at the Delaware FLL Championship Tournament. |

Matthew's robotics team won the Programming award at a robotics competition and will advance to the VEX Robotics World Championship in Dallas in April. |

We visited the Philadelphia Museum of Art to see the Arshile Gorky exhibit. As is typical with modern art, some of us liked it, and some of us didn't. |

Luke and Peter's RoboWhizards team won awards in both Programming and Robot Performance in the regional First State FIRST Lego League competition. They will continue on to the next level of competition in Delaware on January 30. |
| Theatre January 2, 2010 |
We attended a theatre performance of The Adventures of Harold and the Purple Crayon, which was adapted from a children's book. Everyone enjoyed the play. We then ate at our favorite South Philadelphia Italian restaurant, Villa di Roma. |
