Vacation - January 18, 2026

We took an eight-day family vacation to Mexico City, staying in the Chapultepec section of the city. We visited many impressive museums, churches, a castle, and a zoo in that area. We also visited the Coyoacán area of the city, including the Frida Kahlo and Trotsky museum houses. One popular activity was a visit to the pre-Aztec city of Teotihuacan. The food, of course, was amazing, and we got good at using the metro.

Christine, Luke, Catherine, Nathan, and I attended the Philadelphia Armenian New Year's Eve party. I was one of the organizers and was responsible for the balloon drop at midnight.

Ani died - October 6, 2025

Christine's sister-in-law, Ani Nuyujukian, 65, died today at her home in Fullerton, California. She is survived by her two daughters. Her memorial service was at the United Armenian Congregational Church on November 22.

Armenia - July 13, 2025

Christine, Laura, Wilma, and I returned from a three-week trip to Armenia, similar to the trip we took in December. This time we served 911 patients in Sisian, Vanadzor, and Gyumri, Armenia. We also helped with the daily VBS at the Armenian Evangelical Church in Berd. We then visited Shoghig Youth Camp in Hankavan. Christine wrote a journal during the trip.
