Vacation - January 18, 2026

We took an eight-day family vacation to Mexico City, staying in the Chapultepec section of the city. We visited many impressive museums, churches, a castle, and a zoo in that area. We also visited the Coyoacán area of the city, including the Frida Kahlo and Trotsky museum houses. One popular activity was a visit to the pre-Aztec city of Teotihuacan. The food, of course, was amazing, and we got good at using the metro.

Nathan - January 4, 2026

Catherine's husband, Nathan, started work at the First Presbyterian Church of West Chester as the Director of Youth Ministries. This video announces his appointment, and this video is his commissioning.

Party - December 31, 2025

Christine, Luke, Catherine, Nathan, and I attended the Philadelphia Armenian New Year's Eve party. I was one of the organizers and was responsible for the balloon drop at midnight.

Armenia - December 18, 2025

Christine, Matthew, Laura, and I returned from a two-week trip to Armenia, similar to the trip we took in July. This time we served 714 patients in Gyumri, Vanadzor, and Sisian, Armenia. Christine wrote a journal during the trip, and this is a published article about the trip.

Ani died - October 6, 2025

Christine's sister-in-law, Ani Nuyujukian, 65, died today at her home in Fullerton, California. She is survived by her two daughters. Her memorial service was at the United Armenian Congregational Church on November 22.

Christine - September 19–21, 2025

Christine, Catherine, and Wilma attended the Armenian Evangelical Women's Fellowship (East Coast) conference in Paramus, New Jersey with 88 other women. Christine was one of the organizers. (image)

Christine - August 10–16, 2025

Christine was a Bible teacher at Camp Arevelk Armenian youth camp. The theme for the week was "REWRITE – Living God’s Story".

Armenia - July 13, 2025

Christine, Laura, Wilma, and I returned from a three-week trip to Armenia, similar to the trip we took in December. This time we served 911 patients in Sisian, Vanadzor, and Gyumri Armenia. We also helped with the daily VBS at the Armenian Evangelical Church in Berd. We then visited Shoghig Youth Camp in Hankavan. Christine wrote a journal during the trip.

Pet - June 29, 2025

Our cat Gadoo died today of kidney failure, and was buried in our back yard the same day. She was almost 20 years old. (image1, image2, image3, image4, image5, image6)

Acting - June 8, 2025

We watched the first episode of season five of The Chosen and found our work as extras on the series appeared in the episode (image, video). We were also in a crowd scene.
