I am sorry to report I will be unable to attend the Postgres conference
in Brazil in late September.  My father-in-law is seriously ill and I
cannot travel at this time.

I have not purchased an airline ticket so there is nothing for me to
cancel.  I assume my hotel reservation can be easily cancelled by
whoever made it for me.  Luis, I am sorry you will have to cancel my
performance tutorial as well.

I hope to be able to attend another Brazilian event in the future.
